During the Fall of 2020, I worked as a Marketing Intern for the UTSA Office of University Marketing. As a Marketing Intern, I designed graphics for UTSA's official social media channels and email marketing communications. I created call-to-action banners and email headers for web. I worked closed with the Creative Services Team to conceptualize and design graphics for the UTSAGrad20, UTSA 2020 Election, and Hispanic Heritage Month social media marketing campaigns. I also organized logo files for UTSA institutes, colleges, and departments.
Instagram Highlights - UTSAGrad20 Campaign
I created branded templates for UTSA's Instagram Highlights. These templates were made in Adobe Illustrator for the UTSAGrad20 social media campaign and were created for graduates to share on their Instagram Stories.
Student Support Gateway Campaign
I created a Call-to-Action Banner and social media graphics in Illustrator and Photoshop for the Student Support Gateway Campaign. I also designed an animated GIF post for Instagram.
Dreamers Resource Center Social Media Graphics
I created these social media graphics in Illustrator for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The UTSA Dreamers Resource Center supports undocumented students in successfully enrolling, persisting ad graduating from UTSA. This project is part of the Seal of Excelencia Campaign. I was asked to create a graphic that looked similar to the UTSA Dreamers Resource Center website.
RowdyVotes Social Media Campaign
For this project, I created several different social media graphics in Illustrator for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to encourage voting and voter registration. These graphics were also used in UTSA's email marketing communications.
Hispanic Heritage Month Campaign
As part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Campaign, I created several different social media graphics for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15. With an undergraduate student population that is primarily Latino, UTSA is committed to becoming a model Hispanic Serving Institution.
By proactively putting key programs and best practices in place, UTSA has made great gains in the application and admission rates of Hispanic undergraduates, which in turn have increased Hispanic enrollment and retention rates.
UTSA is committed to providing high-quality, affordable education for anyone who wishes to purse a degree. Our Bold Promise is making college more accessible for Texas high school grads from low and middle-income families.
LGBTQIA+ History Month
I created these social media graphics in Photoshop for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. LGBTQIA+ History Month is observed in October to coincide with National Coming Out Day on October 11. It celebrates historic figures and their contributions to national and world history and civil rights. LGBTQIA+ History Month honors the leaders and advocates who have worked tirelessly to promote equality and inclusion in our communities.
Hanukkah Social Media Graphics
I created a holiday social media graphic in Illustrator for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Hanukkah is a jewish eight-day wintertime festival of lights. It is celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers, and foods. This graphic was posted on social media at the beginning of the eight-day period.
Thanks Day Social Media Graphic
I created this social media graphic in Illustrator for the UTSA Student Alumni Association. The Alumni Association asked if I could create a Thanks Day social media graphic similar to the one they had last year. Once the graphic was approved, it was sent to the client.
Email Header
I created an email header for the UTSA College for Health, Community & Policy. After the design was approved, it was sent to the client.
